Specialized Quarterback & Mental Performance Coach helping QBs master throwing mechanics, build unshakeable confidence, and perform at their peak when it matters most.
Jonah Hedges is a former collegiate athlete, quarterback trainer, biomechanics and movement strategy coach, offensive coordinator based in Knoxville, Tennessee. He works with athletes ranging from middle school competitors to collegiate and professional players, specializing in quarterback development and helping athletes better understand how they move, think, and compete. Jonah's work focuses on identifying each athlete's unique movement strategies, biomechanics, and performance tendencies so they can maximize their strengths instead of trying to fit into someone else's model of success. His approach combines technical quarterback training, movement analysis, and the proven Mental Performance Center™ system to help athletes develop confidence, self-awareness, and the mental skills needed to perform consistently under pressure. Parents often describe Jonah's coaching as highly personal and intentional, sharing that he takes the time to truly get to know their child and creates an experience that feels like much more than just another workout. Jonah believes athletes perform best when they understand who they are, not what others expect them to be, because every athlete's path to success is unique.
I do not give empty pep talks, and I do not tell quarterbacks to "just believe in themselves." I teach specific, trainable throwing mechanics and mental skills that change how quarterbacks prepare, throw, and lead under pressure.
The quarterbacks I coach learn how to fix mechanical breakdowns, stay calm when the pocket collapses, and reset instantly after mistakes. They show up to game day with confidence, not because they feel lucky, but because they have trained both mind and motion.
Everything is built on evidence-based biomechanics and proven mental performance frameworks. No guesswork. Pure application.

every session has a purpose and a plan
the skills I teach are backed by research, not opinion
we work on real moments from real competition, not abstract concepts
Create a constructive environment where we can break down mistakes, build confidence, and develop strong habits.

"The position my son plays doesn't give you much room to unravel and MPC gave him the tools to handle that pressure. He has a reset routine that actually works and a calmness we hadn't seen from him before. His coaches brought up his leadership without us even saying anything. But what's surprised us most is how it's shown up away from football, the way he carries himself, how he handles hard conversations. He's not just becoming a better player. He's growing up."

"Carter has always been a competitive kid, but learning how to reset after mistakes has taken his game to another level. He stays locked in now, a bad shift doesn't turn into a bad period anymore. He's more vocal on the ice, more confident with the puck, and when he comes home after a tough game he actually leaves it at the rink. The biggest thing for us? He believes he belongs out there. That mindset shift has been everything."
